RUSSIAN FEDERATION GOVERNMENT SCHOLARRSHIP
INTRODUCTION
Applications are invited from Indian nationals on plain paper in the prescribed published format for the award of Russian Federation
Government Scholarship for studies at postgraduate, Ph.D. and Post-doctoral level at a Russian University or institution.
Number of scholarships offered by the Government of Russian Federation are 35 and would be available for studies in the following subjects:
Nuclear Physics Geophysics Biotechnology Electronics Agronomy Painting and Sculpture Electrical Engineering Architectural Engineering International Relations Food Technology
COURSE AND ELIGIBILITY
Qualification:
(i) PG Degree or equivalent with 60% or more marks in aggregate, for Ph.D. and Post-doctoral studies.
(ii) Bachelor Degree with 60% or more marks for PG studies. Age: (i) Below 35 years as on a date of April for Ph.D and post Doctoral studies.
(iii) Below 27 years as on a date of April for PG studies. Value of Scholarship: 417 Roubles and 45 Kopeeks or about 23 US Dollars.
CAREER PROSPECTS
Candidates should have financial means to meet their living expenses during the whole period of studies (not less than
100 US Dollars per month) in Russia. Candidate himself has to pay for accommodation. Passage Cost: Travel expenses from India to Russia and
back will have to be borne by the candidates or his sponsor. Last Date for submission of Application; Application on plain paper
(as per format) along with the required plain photocopies of required documents with a copy of recent passport size photograph pasted
on application should reach the Section Officer, ES.3 Section, Ministry Human Resource Development, Department of Education, A.1/W.3
Curzon Road Barracks, Kasturba Gandhi Marg, New Delhi-110001 latest by a date of May of the year. Applications received after the prescribed
date will not be entertained. The final selection rests with the Government of Russia.
PAY PACKAGE
If communication is not received from the Ministry on the application till the date specified in the notice,
it mat be presumed that the applicant has not been considered suitable for nomination for the scholarship.
